What To Expect

After making your new patient appointment, you will arrive for your scheduled visit with the oncologist. Please bring your driver's license, insurance cards and a list of any medications and supplements that you are currently taking.

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by one of our patient coordinators. New patient forms will need to be completed. At your initial consultation, you and your doctor will both review your medical history and discuss a care plan. Your oncologist will answer all of your questions regarding your diagnosis and care. We want you involved and informed every step of the way. We start this from the day you come to us.

If diagnostic imaging or lab work is needed to assist in formulating your care plan, we can provide it at the time of your visit.

Should your diagnosis require treatment, we will schedulec a chemo education appointment. During this visit, you will be completely informed about your treatment, diagnosis and what to expect. We will answer all of your questions and any concerns you may have about your upcoming treatment.

Finally, we will review your care plan and create an appointment calendar so you will be fully informed of hte process and roadmap to recovery.
